I remember when I started my martial arts journey at 17 years old. I immediately fell in love with it and shortly after imagined opening my own school one day. I have had the opportunity to teach Muay Thai and Wing Chun at other martial arts schools but I never liked the way the schools were run. It was clear that everything was about money, 25 different color belts, rank promotions, selling weapons, trophies and big ceremonies all at a price. I knew I did not want to go that route. To me, it is about guiding the student along their journey and getting them to reach their goals and far beyond.
When I opened my school in 2011, I made a commitment to serving and empowering all of my students by teaching children, teens and adults the confidence, self-defense, leadership, and fitness skills that can be achieved through Muay Thai without ripping people off. Come see the difference at Sor. Ploenjit Muay Thai.

One of the most fun parts of martial arts training is the ability to test your skills by competing in a tournament. Tournaments are not only fun for competitors, but they also become a great social experience for parents as well!
From sparring to forms to team demos, these awesome competitions are not only a place where our students can test their skills, but also a place where team spirit is built, fears are overcome, and character is developed. Most importantly, they are tons of fun!
