Kaensak Sor. Ploenjit
Kaensak is ranked in the top ten Muay Muay Thai fighters of all time, He ruled the flyweight division during the height of Muay Thai's Golden Era. Kaensak was a technician in the ring when he fought the late 80s and 90s
Kaensak Sor. Ploenjit was a fighter that preferred to use intelligence and technique when fighting his opponents.
Kaensak started training Muay Thai at 9 years old with his father and he had his first fight when he was 10 years old. He joined the Taputhai camp in his native province of Samut Prakan then moved to the Sor.Ploenjit gym in Bangkok at the age of 15 to start his fighting career. At the age of 18, he became a champion.
Kaensak won many titles in Thailand including Lumpinee and Ratchadamnern titles.
One of his top fights was when he defeated the great champion Taweesaklek Ploysakdaa.
His fight record is 250 fight with 208 wins, 40 losses and 2 draws
In 1990, he became the first fighter to be named Fighter of the Year two years in a row (1989 and 1990) by well known Sport Writers Association of Thailand. This was such an honor and a big deal that he is known as the 'Two Time Fighter of the Year'.
Kaensak resides in New Jersey and comes to Connecticut to do seminars and private lessons for Coach Dave.
To this day Kaensak is known as a legend in Thailand and one of the best fighters in the golden era of Muay Thai.
